Job Description

 

We are currently looking for dynamic and self motivated Laundry professionals who want to move their careers forward.

As a Laundry Valet you are responsible to ensure that laundry service, required by our guest is met on time and with the highest possible standards, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• Responsible for pick up and delivery of guest laundry
• Collect laundry and dry cleaning bags from guest rooms and ensure that guest name, room number and laundry pieces are listed
• Count and verify all items as per the laundry and dry cleaning lists and record collection and delivery times and special message
• Report immediately any guest valuables / items found in pockets of clothes sent to laundry
• Check all items for damage and stains and take appropriate action to rectify these issues
• Responsible to collect and deliver outside guest laundry / dry cleaning and assist marker when necessary
• Responsible for delivering all guest items punctually and in a professional, courteous way
• Assist in the loading and unloading of dryers and sort out washed laundry items
• Assist in inventories and attend all trainings as informed and scheduled.

Skills

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should ideally have a vocational training within the laundry operation and previous experience in a similar role. Good command of English communication skills and a positive, friendly attitude are essentials.
