The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for managing the implementation of the hotel’s sales and marketing strategies and the achieving budgeted top line revenue for the hotel.
The DOSM is accountable for guest room and catering/banquet revenues. The role is responsible for maximizing profitability for the hotel and ensuring delivery of outstanding quality service for all customers. The DOSM will work closely with revenue management and marketing functions, to develop strategies to maximize RevPAR and grow market share. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail oriented, enjoys working in a team environment and leading and developing Team Members.
- A minimum 8 years’ experience DOSM in a 5 star luxury hotel environment.
- Proven track record in achieving rooms revenue targets.
- Local market experience preferred.
- Experience with international hotel chains as well as independent hotels.
- Ability to keep the sales motivated at the same time holding them accountable for revenue targets.
- Good command of English & Arabic is preferable (written and oral)
- A passion for luxury service.
- Team Player.
