To work with the Restaurant and other F&B outlet’s team to ensure achievement of strategic departmental goals, especially in the area of guest satisfaction. To be prepared to work all shifts within the Restaurant, Private In Room Dining, Specialty Restaurant, Bars, and Banquets to create a fully multi skilled and productive Food and Beverage team. Follow strictly F&B Sofitel Brand Standards.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
•Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
•Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Thorough knowledge of food products, standard recipes and proper preparation.
•Walking and standing are required during the working day.
•Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
•Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. occasionally.
•Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks occasionally.
•Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
PERSONALITY AND SKILLS
Education: Diploma Certificate required.
Experience: Must have at least one (1) year of prior experience as a waiter.
Language: Must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
