Job Description

The reservation agent is responsible to enter all reservation related information accurately in the PMS and to provide an efficient reservations service for room reservation in order maximize revenues.

Furthermore the reservation agent will review all reservations entered in the PMS through different channels.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•To maintain high level of guest satisfaction during the reservation process
•To be aware of the market segmentation, market offers and promotions
•To enter and review reservations made through different channels
•To create and file Opera reports
•To charge prepaid reservations through different channels
•To update billing and routing instructions
•To action CCC requests in a timely manner
•To take care of all room reservation related inquiries through all booking channels
•To file the guest correspondence as per property standard
•To maintain information for partners
•To actively and consistently enroll Starwood Preferred Guest Members to develop brand loyalty.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

•To complete additional tasks as requested by the Reservation Supervisor or Revenue Manager
•To forward potentials company inquiries to the Sales Department
•To assist the Reservation Supervisor in the review of commission claims
•To support the Reservation Supervisor
•To ensure PMS profiles are maintained, merged and updated on a regular basis to provide accurate Company, Agent and Individual Guest information
•To maintain the Reservation files



Requirements

Education
High school diploma preferred, additional hospitality or butler training preferred.
Experience
At least 1 year of experience within the hospitality industry.
Grooming
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Starwood standards.
