  At the moment we're looking for a Waiter
to join our energetic, enthusiastic and passionate Food & Beverage team,
based at Holiday Inn Bur Dubai - Embassy District

new guest rooms perfectly located within walking distance from the Dubai Metro,
Burjuman Centre and the Creek on its doorstep. This together with its close
Proximity to Dubai International Airport and Dubai International Exhibition
Centre positions the hotel as the ideal choice for Corporate & Leisure
markets.



 



As a
Waiter, you are responsible for providing Guests with food and drinks
as requested in an efficient manner and according to proper procedure and local
regulations. A Waiter/Waitress carries the responsibility of thoroughly
understanding the menu, food offerings and food contents. Specifically, you
will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest
standards:



  • Manage an efficiently operated shift
    that is in accordance with the agreed standards and regulations

  • Use every possible opportunity to
    gain knowledge in all areas of F&B operations

  • Ensure all tables receive their
    drinks and food as requested

  • Maintain the cleanliness of all
    equipment used during shifts

  • Maintain cleanliness of the outlet
    and stores to Safety and Hygiene standards at all times.

  • Show complete awareness of all the
    drink and food menus and readiness to explain and recommend food and drink
    contents

  • Maximize revenue and increase
    average spend per person through upselling, high customer service
    standards, effective training and motivational techniques


  • QUALIFICATIONS:



     



  • Customer Service experience in
    hospitality industry

  • Warm, welcoming personality and
    smartly presentable

  • Ability to listen  and respond to guest needs

  • Excellent interpersonal and
    communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure, and
    meet challenges.
  • Ability to work under pressure
