An exciting position has arisen at Talise Nutritional Café for a highly motivated and hard working Team Leader. The main purpose of this role is assists the Outlet Manager and/ or the Assistant Outlet Manager to plan, organise and supervise all processes of the outlet and provides hands-on support to food and beverage colleagues to ensure the outlet provides quality service that is consistent with the Hotel Standard Operating Procedures and achieves maximum revenue and profit in line with budgeted and forecasted projections.

Your main duties will be:
Ensures that all colleagues’ activities adhere to and support the Jumeirah International Quality Management System
Sets a personal example for right conduct and behaviour for an open eyed, respected and effective supervision of Palm Court Lobby Lounge
Provides hands-on support, direction and assistance to colleagues on all areas of their assigned duties ensuring highest levels of service and courtesy are provided to guests
Ensures that effective link is maintained between kitchen and service areas
Handles a station providing a specialist advice on food and beverages to guest’s up-selling the menu
Make sure guests orders receive the food, beverages and services they order, must seek the assistance of the immediate supervisor and reports the issue to the Assistant Outlet Manager / Outlet Manager if corrective action is required
Conducts team briefing and training as delegated by the Assistant Outlet Manager / Outlet Manager
Performs opening and closing duties as when required ensuring that the outlet will be ready for the business opening
Performs other duties may be assigned by the management
In order to be considered for this role you should have at least 2 years experience as a Team Leader in Food and Beverage in a 5 star Restaurant or Nutritional background.
It would be desirable if you have knowledge of any other language and have a Hospitality diploma or with Food and Beverage Certifications.
You will have ability to work under unsupervised in a busy environment. You should be highly motivated and passionate about customer service.
