Director of Sales & Marketing
4* Deluxe Hotel in Dubai requires a Director of Sales & Marketing from an international luxury brand with at least 5 years of experience as Director of Sales & Marketing with experience in the United Arab Emirates Market.
The Director of Sales & Marketing will be required to oversee the day to day sales efforts of a team of 5 and will be responsible for the overall positioning of the hotel, brand communication and the development of customers for the entire hotel operations in conjunction with the General Manager and Marketing Department of the Group. You will also be responsible for all Hotel’s sales and marketing functions, the relationship and coordination between the hotel and the Corporate Office to maximize total hotel revenue, market share and optimizing profit return.
Candidates must have minimum of 10 years relevant working experience, and 5 years as Director of Sales & Marketing within the United Arab Emirates.
Proven experience with 4 and 5-star hotels in United Arab Emirates.
Sound management abilities in the strategic planning of revenue achievement in accordance with budgeting and hotel profit and loss analysis.
Must have the ability to control and manage sound pricing strategy with the aim of maximizing revenue potential, in conjunction with the Revenue Manager.
Candidates must have strong knowledge in Global Commercial Accounts with RFP contracting, as well as, experience in electronic business, connection with global wholesalers and airlines related hotel programs.
Representation of the hotel and Group at road shows, trade fairs and attend international sales calls/trips where mandated to maximize market exposure and new market development.
Good communication and interpersonal skill, as well as, good command in English and Arabic both written and spoken will be a distinct advantage.
Possessing strong leadership qualities, and training skills in sales, for the efficient and effective running of the Sales Teams – Leisure and Corporate Segments.
