  • Liaise with your head receptionist to maximize daily bookings
  • Identify inefficiencies in booking sheets and develop solutions
  • Answer calls promptly to use the potential empty seats fully
  • Forecast the no show rate and be prepared to exploit it fully by accommodating the walk-ins and last minute bookings taken by phone
  • Utilize all tables to achieve higher turnover
  • Ensure customers are informed regularly on their table status if there is a delay
  • Communicate with the restaurant manager continuously to update on the dynamics of the reservations, delays, cancellations in order to avoid unnecessary table chasing or rigid return time policy.
  • Keep in touch with kitchen as and if needed, to help them arrange their work flow
  • Inform our guests about upcoming events at Restaurants/Venues by updating and using our Reservations System and Head Office support
  • To provide Head Office Marketing with the appropriate social media information to engage our guests through the correct media.
  • Hire and train all reception members according to the training manual and update the training manual as required
  • Observe the development of individual staff and to give regular performance feedback
  • Ensure that all staff are undertaking their responsibilities to the best of their ability
  • Complete all administrative duties competently:

  • Compose a weekly Rota no later than 1 week ahead
  • Update the VIP, regulars and concierge lists
  • Update all operational cell numbers
  • Complete daily log book and reports
