We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Sales professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

As a Director of Sales - MICE you are responsible to monitor sales MICE production and adjust sales activities to achieve planned goals within your region in order to deliver qualified leads and service existing accounts, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:

•Develop active communication and close rapport with convention bureau, MICE organizers, Rotana area sales offices and other sources of sales information and support
•Identify, solicit and service all MICE accounts in liaison with the other sales divisions
•Handle all incoming group and MICE leads generated, jointly with the concerned sales division, including all communication, negotiation and contracting required
•Assess group business to maximize contribution from available public space and generate room revenues whilst achieving banqueting budgets
•Yield all leads prior to the offer letter being sent out in terms of hotel selected, venue assigned or rates offered within the area set up
•Ensure that sales and catering PMS is well managed, maintained and updated as per company policy and standards
•Attend MICE exhibitions and road shows and arrange or conduct site inspections of hotel’s facilities
•Set up and update group & MICE selling strategies in conjunction with the Revenue Managers & Director of Sales
•Develop annual sales MICE department budget and execute the sales programs and activities within it


You should be holding a bachelor degree in sales with previous relevant work experiences. You must be a computer literate with effective and outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.

The ideal candidate will be dynamic and a ‘finisher’ with an eye for detail and the ability to drive through solutions. You are having a strong commercial orientation with broad business understanding and skills, equipped with a sharp intellect in order to focus on key issues with an attention to details and accuracy of information while possessing following additional competencies:
