We will be opening a new pastry shop in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.  Due to that, we are in need of a competent Head Pastry Chef.  These are the corresponding qualifications.

Minimum Requirements:

Male is required

Bacheor Degree in any Culinary-related field

Minimum of 5 years experience as Head Chef in hotels, restaurants, café shops,etc.

Must have comprehensive knowledge in competency and creativity in making pastries

Good command of written and oral English; knowledge about Arabic is an advantage.

Must be able to deal with quality control, and production control

Performs duties in timely manner


Duties and Responsibilities:

Create and prepare desserts

Decorate cakes and baked goods according to requirements

Inspect the quality of the ingredients and measure them for specific recipes

Train the kitchen staff to meet imposed standards

Establish a budget for ingredient purchase

Organise the kitchen staff and supervise while working

Cleans the equipment and utensils and maintain the kitchen clean and in good order for proper functioning.
