At the moment we're looking Assistant Marketing Manager
to join our energetic, enthusiastic and passionate team at Holiday Inn Muscat
Holiday Inn Muscat Al Seeb is Set 2 km from Muscat City
Centre shopping mall, this laid-back, modern hotel is 9 km from Muscat
International Airport. The 185 rooms equipped with an array of modern amenities
and latest technology.
As Assistant Marketing Manager you will be reporting
directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing and below are some of the key
- Assist in creating and implementing the marketing plan for the
- Work closely primarily with Rooms and Food & beverage teams as
well as other departments for efficient creation and roll out of marketing
- Establish a calendar of activities (Annual & monthly) in
coordination with the relevant hotel departments.
- Create artworks based on marketing plans and create the designs of
printed and digital materials required for different hotel departments and as
directed by hotel management.
- Manage day to day
activities of the hotel main social media channels, develop these channels and ensure
strong hotel presence in these channels.
- Build relationship
with key media contacts in the market.
- Manage all
advertising jobs required, also, create and publish press releases on different
hotel activities on a regular basis.
- Build relationship
with different local and expat communities and attend networking events. Ensure
brand standard is followed in all works.
- To be up to date
with the latest trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
- Support in
managing hotel CSR activities along with the relevant hotel departments.
- Manage hotel
brand initiatives and ensure campaigns are communicated effectively.
- Identify potential opportunities & tools to market
the hotel and its facilities.
Qualifications and requirements
Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification /
equivalent in Hospitality and Tourism and Two years in Marketing experience
including some supervisory training/experience, or an equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Seeking a highly confident self-motivated individual with
attention to details to be completely accountable for the Housekeeping function
in this great hotel.
- Fluent in both Arabic &
English languages with good writing skills.
- Graphic design: experienced
in working on Photoshop & Illustrator
- Excellent organizational
