Key Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinating, planning, and facilitating all details for group catering, catering only and wedding events. Details to coordinate includes completing BEOs, meeting room specifications, banquet food and beverage, audiovisual, program details, attrition, deposits, and billing details
  • Preparing periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales forecast to the Director of Food & Beverage
  • Communicating and corresponding with potential customers providing any requested information or collateral concerning menus, meeting room layouts, seating capacity diagrams, maps, area attractions, billing details, convention services, intro letters and brochures
  • Developing strategies to meet annual sales goals
  Qualifications  
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred, but not absolutely necessary
  • minimum of 2 years experience in Sales related to Catering & Events
  • Organisation ability, sales contracts, research and planning
  • Proven ability to identify trends and need areas
