The Kids Club Counselor supervises the activities of all assigned children in the Kid’s Club area and ensure children remain in designated area and ensuring the procedures and policies of the kids club are followed

What will I be doing?

Essential Function
  • 75% Ensuring the culture of health and safety awareness in the kids club
  • 10% Follow the code of ethics, rules and regulation of kids club
  • 05% Greet the parents and children in friendly, welcoming, calm and be helpful at all times
  • 05% Maintain the cleanliness of the area and sanitize all the equipment (E.g. toys, etc.)
  • 05% Report in case of incident or accident happen during club sessions
Other Duties   Assimilate to The Hilton Family PRIDE/CARE culture through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of PRIDE/CARE. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards. Regular Attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Hilton from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Safety requirements   Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential or risk to your health or safety. The hotel will provide the required PPE. Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your Manager. Specific job knowledge, Skill and ability   The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Fulfilling the role of a Kids Club Counselor, you will enthusiastically interact with our younger guests between the ages of 4 - 12, while providing amazing experiences that leave them begging to come back again and again!
  • Ability to arrive to work on time and when scheduled.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems
  • Complete Child, Infant and Adult CPR certification within 90 days of employment
  • Friendly, outgoing personality
  • Must communicate with children clearly and appropriately using positive language according to their individual needs, ages and stages of development.
  • Encourage and empower the children to develop negotiating skills.
  • Managing inappropriate behavior
  • Maintain highest level of professional ethics and compliance with all club rules and regulations.
  • Ensures children are signed in and only picked up by parent that signed child in.
  • Sanitizes and organizes Kid’s club room during and at end of shift.
  • Participate in the overall safety, comfort and cleanliness of facility.
  • Reports immediately broken toys or equipment to supervisor.

What are we looking for?
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.

  • Certificate in adult and Kids CPR, First aid Certificate, Child care certificate

  • Previous Customer Service experience, within the Hospitality Industry, is preferred

  • All employees must ma intain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance

  • Intermediate English language skills

  • Basic computer knowledge
