EHS Manager will provide full time environmental health and safety support to the operation and will ensure that all practices are in compliance with local regulatory requirement. EHS manager will be responsible for coordinating local regulatory programs and its permitting applications.
Leadership of the development, implementation and maintenance of an appropriate EHSMS within the entity
To be the expert in matters of certification/ the Environmental Management System(EMS), and thus be the reference for the hotel teams in case of any questions
To ensure that the hotel's EHSMS is in compliance to both international standards and Abu Dhabi EHSMS as well
Updates the EHSMS Manual and communicate the changes made to relevant parties in line with EHS management system compliance & conformity.
Conduct Staff refreshment training for all training which was conducted by outsource company – Like Fire Marshal , Basic Fire Fighting , PLASMA Tower Scaffold Tower Course etc
EHS manager will be in charge of ensuring cleanliness, health and safety in workplace, particularly in food preparation area, as well as will inspect work equipment, machinery and work spaces in order to verify its safety.
To identify key areas of risk in various food operations for early remedial actions.
Practice safe working techniques and re- enforce the safety policies, guidelines, and procedures as set out by the Hotels.
To monitor the health condition of food handlers and to arrange medical examination or suspension of work where necessary.
To provide in-house training for the food handlers
Overall responsible for implementing Hygiene system in the hotel
Overall responsible for implementing HACCP system in the hotel
