-Previous experience in a customer-focused industry and cash handling

-Positive attitude and good English and Arabic communication skills both written and verbal

-strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities are essentials

-Ability to work on your own and as part of a team

-Computer literate and previous experiences with PROTEL are an advantage

-Diploma / Certificate in Hotel Management or equivalent

Your role will include key responsibilities such as: 

-Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out, and complete audit procedures, as required

-Ensure that both the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments

-Provide prompt, courteous and efficient service to all guest, so as to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction through personalized service from arrival till departure 

-Ensure guests are personally greeted by name, if known and escorted to their room to make them feel expected and welcomed 

-Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties

-Maintain an awareness of rate levels to be sold on a daily basis and the occupancy levels 

-Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities

-Use the correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy

-Maintain the privacy of all guests by ensuring that no details of the guests are disclosed 

-Demonstrate a complete understanding of the hotel’s policies, procedures and service standards and have full knowledge of the hotel facilities and happenings

-Assist other departments, as necessary
