Assistant Executive Housekeeper
We are looking for Assistant Executive Housekeeper with the island experience only - Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritus.
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible of Assisting the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining a high level of cleanliness, orderliness and appearance in hotel by planning, organizing, directing and controlling the housekeeping operations.
Ensure all hotel cleanliness standards are maintained by doing inspections of the rooms and entire property on a continuous basis.
Hold the departmental morning meeting and the HODs morning meeting in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
Help the Executive Housekeeper to prepare the annual budget and Capex.
Prepare the monthly Rota.
Update the Rota on a daily basis and keep track of the hours worked, the sick leave, the absenteeism, the lateness and the refund PHs taken and/or to be refunded for each employee.
Take weekly and monthly inventory counts in order to monitor and control all departmental expenses.
Coordinate the preventive maintenance schedule of rooms and public area with maintenance department along with the Executive Housekeeper.
Recommend repairs and maintenance projects.
Liaise with all relevant department heads and managers to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the housekeeping department en therefore, guest satisfaction.
Monitor closely the condition and maintenance of all accommodation and public areas.
Coach and train the housekeeping staff on a continuous basis. Comply with the new hires training schedule in order to maximize the learning and productivity of the new employees.
Ensure the smooth running and staff welfare within the department.
Responsible for the ordering of all related cleaning chemicals and materials.
Maintains personnel contact with the guest in dealing with complaints.
Continuously analyze the operations and suggest ideas and projects in order to improve the quality of results and productivity.
Any other relevant task requested by management
