To ensure that all laws and fiscal regulations of the country of location (which affect the financial matters of the hotel) are complied with. This includes the responsibility for seeing that proper permits and licenses are obtained for such areas as importations, currency transfers, etc. To ensuring that all accounting allocations are appropriately made and documented by true and fair analysis of monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliation. To assist in preparing, in conjunction with the other department heads and the General Manager, both the annual and revised capital budget and profit budget in the required format. In addition to the preparation,the Financial Controller is responsible for timely compilation of management and statutory financial statements and reports and maintain consistency and accuracy, timely submission of Annual Report and related document respective statutory agencies. To review and Identification of cost drivers, innovative analyses to encourage management attention and action on managing cost drivers, explore cost reduction opportunities and bench marking costs structures against sister properties. To ensure that the standards required by Law and by Management are maintained at all times in the areas specified. To establishing and executing internal controls over the company’s accounting and financial procedures by reviewing Accounts receivable ageing reports,control inventory ageing by maintaining 30 days stock level.
