Job overview:



To assist the Chef De Partie in his duties to ensure that all food is
served according to predetermined methods of cooking and plating instructions.

Duties and Responsibilities



FINANCIAL RETURNS:-

  • Prevent food spoilage through daily checks and ensuring that all
    incoming and outgoing food items are up to agreed standards.

  • Ensure that all conducted training of food preparation, hygiene and
    grooming standards is understood and followed by him and his subordinates.
  • PEOPLE:-



  • Ensure full cooperation with all other service colleagues and
    departments.

  • Assist his immediate work colleagues, supervisor
    in the performance of his duties
  • GUEST EXPERIENCE:-



  • To work along with the team according to the standard and policy,
    to bring about the guest experience.

  • Actively participate in all training activities.
  • RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS:

  • Responsible for preparing all food in his assigned kitchen.

  • Have a good knowledge of all menus being offered in the respective
    kitchen at any one time.

  • Check food storage areas and refrigerators for cleanliness and
    proper functioning and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

  • Responsible for cleanliness of respective section.

  • Ensure all equipment is cleaned regularly.
  • ACCOUNTABILITY, QUALIFICATIONS AND
    REQUIREMENTS



    Hotel Management course/education,
    previous work experience in hotel/in this position, must be able to communicate
    in primary language (English), team player, accountable, responsible and
    maintaining quality of work place at all times.
