To prepare and participate in the monthly objective review. To train associates on various sales techniques to increase the average check. To ensure the vacation planner is adhered to and no overtime is accumulated for the employees. To conduct associates performance appraisals as required. To assist in the training of employees ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency and in the most productive manner. To attend training and meetings as and when required. To interview and recommend food and beverage team according to the defined budgeted head count in all areas. To deal with associates problems/disciplinary action as per correct hotel procedure when required and in close liaison with the F&B manager and human resources director. To ensure that all employees receive a job description and work in accordance to standard operating procedures. To prepare and execute the Food and beverage induction plans for the new team members. To be responsible for the on-the-job training of all associates in the department, to the agreed hotel standard for all new associates, also for part-time and temporary associates.
