Job Description

 

  • To ensure that you are always courteous & friendly to members & guests, attentive to their needs, handle problems in a professional manner & are conscious of the importance of safety.
  • To be responsible for the daily operations of the reception desk during spa operation times.
  • Greet & bid farewell to every member, potential member & guest, with a smile, eye contact, & a friendly verbal greeting, using the member’s name when possible.
  • Answer the telephone within three rings in the correct manner & give clear & friendly response to all queries.
  • Attend to waiting members & guests as quickly as possible & actively listen & respond positively to questions, concerns & requests using brand or property specific processes, to resolve issues
  • Anticipate members needs, including asking questions of members to better understand their needs & watching / listening to member preferences & acting on them whenever possible.
  • Ensure that all booking for tennis & squash courts is followed correctly in line with the club’s policies
  • Assist in smooth membership administration processes in line with the Sales & Marketing departments.
  • Promote all retail & merchandise items, & stock control of all retail products & merchandise.
  • Ensure that daily cashing up & reconciling of cash is inline with the Finance policies of The Spa.
  • Report work related accidents or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to the supervisor
  • Follow company & departmental safety & security policies & procedures to ensure a clean, safe & secure environment.
  • Complete appropriate safety training & certifications to perform work tasks.
  • Follow property specific procedure for handling emergency situations (e.g., evacuation, medical emergencies, and natural disasters).
  • To inform Supervisor on a daily basis of any faults, defects or maintenance requirements
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance & grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform & name tag when working.
  • Work in conjunction with other areas in the spa to promote our spa, and support the achievement of a high quality lifestyle provision.
