Chefs, Chef de Partie
- Create new Arabic menu items
- Check the daily order, and produce the quantity ordered following the SOPs maintaining HACCP standards.
- Assign tasks to Demi chefs and Commies, and organize the production of the departments.
- Sure the availability of the food items at all times.
- Manage the ordering process of food items.
- Manage staff in the department and ensure high personal hygiene among employees.
- To maintain good employees relations and motivate staff at all times, be a role model.
- To report any problems regarding failures of machinery or small equipments to the Sous chef.
- Manage and train the employees in the department.
- Assist in the production of the events ( outside caterings)
- Fill all the HACCP forms and ensure the implementation of HACCP standards
- Ensure that portioning and packaging of the food products as per the direction of the nutritionist
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area including all kitchen areas and equipments.
- Rotate products properly, following first in first out.
- Assist in food prep assignments during off peak periods as needed.
- Attend all kitchen employees meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
- Assist in implementing new menu items and provide new ideas
- Understand costing and assist the Sous chef in the costing process.
- Keep updated with the new trends, cuisines and hospitality knowledge in General.
