Our client is a 5 star corporate hotel in Bahrain. Featuring at the hotel are various food and beverage concepts. The client also offers the guests with a choice of Japanese acuisine at one of their high-end restaurants. In order to manage the overall opeartions of the Japanese kitchen, we are looking for a highly skilled Japanese Chef de Cuisine who has exceptional knowledge of both modern and contemporary Japanese food.

This restaurant will have live stations for Sushi and Teppanyaki along with with an ala carte menu which offers authentic Japanese dishes including a long list of choice for noodles and bento.

Candidate will either be a Japanese national or someone who has had a strong exposure to Japanese cuisine.

Key Profile:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of Chef experience for signature Japanese restaurants
  • Have exceptional knowledge and proven experience in creating modern as well as authentic Japanese cuisine
  • Strong technical abilities and outstanding knife skills
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Ability to lead and train a team of around 20 chefs
  • Excellent presentation and grooming standards
