Proximity to Dubai International Airport and Dubai International Exhibition
Centre positions the hotel as the ideal choice for Corporate & Leisure
markets.



 



  At the moment we're looking for a Sous Chef to join our
energetic, enthusiastic and passionate team, based at Holiday Inn Bur Dubai -
Embassy District.



As a Sous Chef,
you should be knowledgeable
about all the operational nuances of the Kitchen department. You will be
reporting to the Executive Chef, and will be responsible for contributing to
the menu creation, managing and training the team to manage the Kitchen
department. You will also be responsible for maintaining the quality of the
menu and manage the food costs, and ensure Guest satisfaction.



To successfully fill this role, you
should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer
    service

  • Excellent planning and organizing skills


  • Qualifications:



     



  • Previous leadership experience in the culinary
    field of at least 2 years is required

  • Diploma/Certification in a Culinary discipline
    an asset

  • Proven track record of cost control including
    food, equipments, labor and wastage to meet the goals and the hotel’s
    financial goals

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window
    applications, and FBM is required

  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving
    abilities

  • Highly responsible & reliable

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast
    paced environment

  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs,
    remaining calm and courteous at all times
  •
