Proximity to Dubai International Airport and Dubai International Exhibition
Centre positions the hotel as the ideal choice for Corporate & Leisure
markets.

 

  At the moment we're looking for a Chef De Partie- Cold Kitchen to join our energetic, enthusiastic and passionate team, based at Holiday
Inn Bur Dubai - Embassy District.

As a Chef De Partie- Cold Kitchen, you will have the independent hand in running the
operations in the Cold Kitchen.
You will be responsible for contributing to the menu creation, and running the
daily operations of the Cold Kitchen of the Hotel. You will also be involved in
maintaining the quality of the Salads, cold cuts, and other production from the
Cold Kitchen and manage the food costs, and ensure Guest satisfaction.

To successfully fill this role, you
should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

·         Seek out sources of fresh food;
monitor all produce and meat for freshness.

·         Suggest daily specials that incorporate seasonal or special
order ingredients.

·         Maintain product consistency by conducting inspections of
seasonings, portion, and appearance of food.

·         Ensure that
unused food is stored properly in order to minimize waste and maximize quality

·         Coordinate
the inventory, purchasing and disbursement of all supplies with the purchasing
manage

·         Ensure that proper sanitation
practices are followed.



Qualifications:



 



  • Previous leadership experience in the culinary
    field of at least 2 years is required

  • Diploma/Certification in a Culinary discipline
    an asset

  • Knowledge of the HACCP implementation
  •
