Director of Conference & Banqueting Sales
We are currently working on a senior assignment for one of our clients in the Middle East; it is for Director of Conference & Banqueting Sales for LHW hotel complex in one of the key cities in the GCC.
An ideal candidate will have similar experience with 5 stars or luxury hotels in large operations.
Reporting to the Director of Sales n& Marketing you will manage in conjunction with your team allocated accounts, follow leads to pro-actively secure new accounts, stay abreast of the market on a constant basis and seek to secure new business opportunities for the hotels. You are also responsible of the overall guest satisfaction of the Banquet guests during the entire event together with the Banquet Operations Director.
You will also be asked to go out and to conduct sales calls and help confirm any valuable direct inquiries as identified during the weekly Revenue Meetings. You will submit proposals in line with SOP guidelines, in coordination with the S&M Department, ensure follow-up procedures & negotiations are carried out in accordance to set guidelines and policies, and create those policies or structures where applicable.
