Job Description

 

SCOPE OF THE ROLE

Serves as a key and most important role in the F&B department. The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of all stewarding areas throughout the property via the provision of leadership, supervision, good planning, training and control. Ensures compliance of Food Safety and Hygiene Standards. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises the day to day function of all stewarding department employees, facilities, operation and costs
  • Ensures stewarding staff have the necessary tools and equipment purchased to complete their daily tasks
  • Completes time and attendance schedules and annual leave records for the Executive Chef’s approval
  • Writes SOP’s and prepares photography and training resources/tools for stewarding training
  • Keeps up to date inventory of chemicals and cleaning equipment
  • Is familiar with all related company documentation and especially relevant SOP’s for his area of responsibility
  • Attends meetings and briefings as directed by F&B Management
  • Proactively updates direct superior on status of assignments an tasks
