The InterContinental Abu Dhabi is an IHG flag
ship property in Abu Dhabi and is a prominent landmark on the Corniche, located
in a commanding beachfront setting. It features 390 guest rooms and suites, has
highly acclaimed food and beverage outlets and elegant meeting rooms and
banquet facilities.

We are currently seeking to hire a dynamic E-Commerce Executive to join InterContinental Abu Dhabi. 


Job Overview

  • System delivery
    targets are for rooms revenue are met by ensuring content and pictures on all
    OTA websites is up to date and the hotel is ranking high in search results on
    all OTA websites.
  • Review the
    ranking of the hotel website on search engines, and update the hotel website
    with relevant search terms and adequate keyword frequency to ensure that the
    hotel website gets the best possible page rank.
  • Assist the Public
    Relations & Communications Director in developing and increasing traffic
    through direct and semi-direct online channels that will improve the overall
    revenue for the property and other key financial and customer matrix.
  • Update and manage
    the corporate representation and social media channels as per IHG brand
    standard policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure brand and
    marketing message on electronic channels is consistent with overall marketing
    activities i.e. special promotions/offers etc.
  • Plan,
    develop and implement campaigns on all social media platforms that increase
    engagement and follower base. Ensure the online audience is always involved
    with the hotel.
  • Monitor,
    review and encourage good content across the internet for the hotel from all
    media channels (Blogs, Videos, Image aggregators, Magazine and Newspaper
    websites etc.)

Ideally you'll have at least two (2) years experience in a
similar role in a 5 stars hotel. Ultimately, you have excellent interpersonal
and leadership skills, proficient skills for written and oral
communication in English and a desire and the ability to travel and
work in different countries.  The right candidate portrays a professional image at
all times and posses strong multi tasking and admin skills.
