As Recreation Manager, you are
responsible to ensure the overall day-to day operations of the
Recreation Department. Be able to manage and facilitate the proper tracking of
guests & members, cash flow, relevant accounting procedures & all
administration duties as well as provide courteous, friendly help and
assistance to all guests and members at all times. Secondary role is to manage
and ensure the completion of regular staff training, maintenance work, product
/ stock control, promote retail sales, inventories, staff schedules as well as
creating and maintaining a unique recreation experience. Manage and oversee a
full and wide range of activities both fitness & non-fitness, however, only
as a managerial point of contact in case of difficulties. The actual
organization of such events must be delegated to recreation supervisors and
other members of the team with the guidance and supervision of the General
Manager and within the framework of the IHG Policies responsible for
coordinating the delivery of all recreational guest services to achieve revenue
Duties and Responsibilities:
ensure the smooth running of the day-to day operations of the recreation

address any inquiries and complaints with knowledge, accuracy and confidence.
the development of the department regarding new products and service standards.
with the engineering department for all maintenance work to be done in any area
of the sports club. Also oversee the
regular maintenance of all gym equipment ensuring all service contracts are
all colleagues within the department by helping them to develop in their role
and encourage them with their self-development.
the compliance of FLS requirement in the department.
coordinate the strategy to cover short term and long term for all recreation
area including the golf course and other sports area
and input at management meetings as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
You should ideally have a degree in the sport / leisure field
with previous experiences in the same position within the international hotel
environment. You must also have fluency in both written and spoken English and
positively contribute to sales activities thereby maximizing revenue along with
the ability to solve problems effectively. Computer skills are a must.
