“Opening” General Manager – Dubai, UAE

This new 4 star property is part of a highly respected hotel and restaurant group in the UAE with projects in other parts of the Middle East region.  Please note client mandates “Dubai General Manager experience is mandatory”!   

The successful General Manager must have a tool bag of strong sales, rooms and revenue management achievements.

Opening experience a big plus!  Only those with recent UAE experience will be considered.

This person must have been a General Manager for a minimum of 4 years and must have worked in at least 3 countries in their employment history.  Some work exposure outside of the Middle East is preferred.  No one will be considered from a group that their standards are not internationally recognized.  Although the property is 4 star it has all the accoutrements of a luxury hotel except the room rates.

To be successful in Dubai now with the increased competition, you must be a self-motivated General Manager.  You must have a successful history of training staff, increasing revenues and profits by implementing aggressive marketing initiatives, improving productivity, customer service and teambuilding.

Our client says that you should have an indepth knowledge of the UAE or similar dynamic environment.  You must be a dedicated professional who is hard working with a proven track record in similar newly opened luxury hotels in the Middle East. 

We believe this opportunity is suitable for an individual who is a visible involved leader with the guests and staff, and with excellent organizational skills.  Someone who is capable of developing strategies and business plans to deliver strong hotel results.  A very goal oriented and results driven person who strives hard to meet high standards and leads a team to do the same.

The General Manager must be a proven leader, as this role may lead to a multi-unit post in the near future.

Salary: Fair and negotiable.
