A respected global hotel corporation known for its 4 and 5 star properties that includes city center hotels, life style brands , resorts, clubs and spas seeks a strong and hands on General Manager for their 5* superior property in one of the most popular destinations in France.

This is an outstanding opportunity for the right General Manager, in  this “classy” 5* hotel with stylish rooms, restaurants and state of the art facilities.  For this post, our client prefers someone who has worked as a General Manager for more than 5 years in a similar luxury global brand or perhaps even in a lifestyle or boutique environment.

They want a General Manager who is on his/her feet and makes things happen…… “A real guest oriented friendly person”!

The ideal General Manager would be knowledgeable in Food & Beverage, with strong leadership skills, and thorough understanding and background in Sales & Marketing, especially with knowledge of the  current “French” hotel scene.

He/She will be responsible for the overall success of this hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met.  You are required to manage all areas of the hotel in accordance with brand standards to achieve a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality. 

The successful candidate should have the ability to implement company policies and procedures that will meet or exceed owner and management expectations. The candidate should have the ability to direct, oversee multiple tasks simultaneously and have the ability to oversee the security function to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, associates and hotel assets.

Other requirements also include meeting or exceeding planned objectives for revenue and profit, maximize revenue, take proactive approaches and perform hands-on duties as needed to deliver guest services. 

Good working knowledge of computers and systems is required, along with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and team building skills with the ability to coach, mentor and motivate the hotel staff.
