Job Description

 

  • Complete the night audit in line with the standards and procedures of the Resort.
  • Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits
  • Distributes all required reports to the departments concerned.
  • Ensures all the back-up documents for next day departure are ready for review.
  • Reconciles outlet banking and summary sheets in each area.
  • Monitors and supervises all incidents at night and report accordingly.
  • Anticipates guest needs, and handle guest inquiries in a helpful and attentive manner.
  • Has a complete knowledge of the resort product, including villa types, rates, relative features and facilities.
  • Develops a close and harmonious working relationship with all hotel departments.
  • Ensures strict control of Villas keys.
  • Ensures all the arrivals and departures are double checked as per reservation correspondence.
  • Prepares and distributes flash reports to all concerned departments.
  • Liaises with Front Office Manager on any complaints from the guests.
  • Monitors all wakeup calls sheets at telecommunication area.
  • Aware of all fire prevention and safety regulations and liaise with the security personnel, if necessary.
  • Attends training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous night audit/accounting experience or equivalent training required.
  • Computer knowledge/Excel and arithmetic skills required.

Work Environment and Context

  • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, and weekends.
  • Work experience in remote areas, preferred in  4-5 star hotels
  • Work experience in supervisory roles in Front Office
  • Excellent command of English language (both oral and written).
  • French or Arabic language will be an advantage
