Holiday Inn Muscat Al Seeb is Set 2 km from Muscat City
Centre shopping mall, this laid-back, modern hotel is 9 km from Muscat
International Airport . The 185 rooms equipped with an array of modern
amenities and latest technology.




As Restaurant & Bar Manager you will be reporting
directly to the Food & Beverage Manager and below are some of the key
responsibilities:



  • Manage the
    effective operation of the Food and Beverage Outlet to ensure the highest
    standards of guest care and attention.

  • Maximize
    all revenue opportunities through effective teamwork and development,
    serving all food and beverage as required by hotel brand standards.

  • Review and
    plan in conjunction with the Food & Beverage Manager regarding
    displays, promotions, menu ideas and input.

  • Set goals
    for the outlet and assist in the budgetary process.

  • Manage
    personnel related topics which will include grievance procedures, staff
    appraisals and misconduct procedures, with the support of the Human
    Resources Department.

  • Set up and
    maintain departmental training plan, records and conduct regular training
    sessions.

  • Actively
    guide and direct the team to ensure consistency of brand standards and a
    high level of performance and service delivery.

  • Ensure
    that delegated administration duties are completed. These will include
    some or more of the following: holiday forms and schedules, rotas, self
    declaration forms, over time requests, attendance sheets, forecasts,
    transfer requests, requisitions and purchase requests.

  • Check that
    all monies, floats and billing procedures are implemented as detailed in
    the Standards Performance Manual.

  • Liaise with
    guests in the Bar ensuring at all times that guests receive the discreet
    and elegant service associated with our brand.

  • Maintain
    all Drinks and Food service standards in line with the Standards
    Performance Manual.

  • Carry out
    any reasonable tasks requested by the Management.


  • The successful applicant will display excellent management skills and
    have previous experience in a similar position in either a 5* hotel or high end
    lounge/bar. Preferably Arabic Speaker, University degree holder, and minimum of
    1 - 2 years experience in the same role.
