We invite applications for the role of Chef De Partie with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Tri Nation (New Zealand, South Africa & Australia) Cuisine, mainly pub food.
Reporting to the Head Chef, the Chef De Partie- role will be responsible for controlling and coordinating the day-to-day preparation and production of the Tri Nation (New Zealand, South Africa & Australia) Pub food. Ensures that the product is of the highest quality and is consistently achieved. Assists the Head Chef in his Tasks and supports his responsibilities. In addition to the standard responsibility of managing the culinary operation, the role comprises of knowledge in cost controlling, HACCP and local Hygiene laws.
As Chef De Partie you would be an expert in scratch cooking (basic knowledge of stocks and sauces), extensive culinary knowledge in both classical and current culinary trends, extensive experience in management of foreign cooks (Multi National) and extensive experience in Tri Nation (New Zealand, South Africa & Australia) Cuisine, mainly pub food.
