JOB OVERVIEW
To
manage sales activities and events in line with the annual sales and marketing
plan and to achieve/exceed budget and sales strategy for your hotel.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To assist in achieving monthly budget/forecast for
    corporate segment and developing new accounts for sales results.
  • To achieve the
    monthly budget/forecast whichever is higher for the hotel, for corporate
    segment.
  • To ensure that
    customer satisfaction is the key driver for all sales initiatives and
    strategies.
  • To ensure a high
    level of exposure both within the hotel and in local market areas through
    direct sales solicitation, telephone contacts and written communications.
  • To ensure standards
    of excellence in performance is achieved both within sales related
    responsibility and as an ambassador for sales with other team
    players throughout the hotel. 
  • To achieve daily
    targeted level of sales call into the field with sales effectiveness.
  • To develop new
    business leads for the hotel.
  • To participate in all
    Forecasting Meetings on a weekly basis with DOSM / Revenue.
  • To prepare monthly
    action plan for main market segment, based on achieving budget for room nights,
    average rate and revenue of the hotel.
  • To review on monthly
    basis profile of company accounts/ based on room night production, average rate
    to ensure accounts are achieving room night production requirements.
  • To monitor competitor
    market conditions including rates, average rates, promotions and account
    movements on an outgoing basis to ensure the hotel maintains its competitive
    edge.
  • Responsible for all
    Government accounts under their management, including contracting, updating
    profile in OPERA and renewing contracts as they expire.
  • To ensure the hotels’
    rate structure is adhered to at all times.



QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s
    degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management, Business
    Administration, or related field preferred
  • 2 years related experience or an equivalent
    combination of education and experience
  • Valid Kuwait driver's license.
REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Demonstrated
    ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects
    highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
  • Problem
    solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.

  • Proficient
    in the use of Microsoft Office

  • Excellent Arabic and English communication skills both oral and written
