Resident Services, Assistant Manager

The Resident Services, Assistant Manager's role is to supervise Apartments and Offices Tenants, ensuring that all standards are being met and exceeded in daily operations.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Rooms, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:


  • Ensures that guest names are used whenever possible, knowing all our Apartment and office Tenants Names.
  • Greeting every guest approaching the Apartment Concierge, and acknowledges waiting guests if they are engaged at that time
  • Supervises prompt and efficient handling of all the Apartment and office Tenants Request related to their Maintenance work
  • Assigns Apartment Concierge Bellman to perform duties as needed during the operation
  • Determines work schedules and keeps time records
  • Responsible for maintaining to all bell desk documents and records
  • Inspects All the Apartment and offices area and they are following the procedures as per the Fairmont Dubai Policy.
  • Utilize knowledge of hotel facilities and local merchants and attractions
  • Reports suspicious behavior of guests to hotel security personnel
  • Ensures that are Apartment Concierge Bellman are completing their task before their shift ends.
  • Answers the telephone with a clear and audible greeting, and closes the interaction with a pleasant final remark
  • Ensuring that the work station and surrounding area is kept clean and neat at all times
  •   Ensures prompt and efficient delivery of mails, parcels and packages by Apartment Bellman to respective Apartment and office Tenants
  • Ensures that prompt action on guest special requests and errands are carried out on time
  • Monitors and controls Apartment service supplies for optimum usage
  • Ensures staff’s punctuality at work at any given time (work schedule and break time)
  • Follow all Occupational Health and Safety regulations
  • Keep an accurate record of all Visitors visiting the Apartments, as well as all items delivered to rooms


  • Previous leadership experience required
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
  • University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
  • Must possess a professional presentation
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Previous leadership experience required
