Sous Chef - Bahrain
A first class opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sous Chef to work for a dynamic & energetic hospitality group with a prime focus of delivering world-class recipes and outstanding food with first-class service and originality to the Middle-East.
As a Sous Chef, you will be ensuring that all food is made to the highest standard of quality and presentation. You will be responsible for the purchasing and storage of all food items as well as maintaining all food hygiene and health and safety standards. You will also need a cheerful attitude as you may be required to interact with guests on a regular basis. An excellent salary package of £43,000 per annum tax free is available for the right person.
The ideal candidate will be a French National with classic French cuisine bistro/brasserie experience and ideally French viennoiserie techniques knowledge too.
Effective team working and networking skills and the ability to work independently using own initiative. The ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload. They are looking for a self-starting, organised Senior Chef with extensive experience to add to their senior team.
The ability to challenge conventional thinking; must have demonstrable experience in evolving existing concepts.
Strong leadership qualities. Must balance driving for results with the ability to coach and mentor the chefs and their skills, supporting development of capability levels and succession planning.
