Key Job Responsibilities
As a Head Bartender you are responsible to provide professional service to our guests, ensuring their Bar visit will become a memorable dining experience whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
- Ensure that the outlet is managed efficiently according to the established concept statements.
- Ensure that all operating standards are adhered to in order to achieve the level of service established in the Departmental Operations Manual.
- Assign responsibilities to subordinates and to check their performance periodically.
- Assist in the operations during busy periods.
- Ensure that the par stocks for all operating equipment and supplies are strictly adhered to and that the outlet is adequately equipped.
- Assist in conducting monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.
- Assist in controlling the requisitioning, storage and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies
- Attend Daily Operations Meeting in the absence of the Outlet Manager or Assistant Outlet Manager
- Conduct daily pre shift briefings to employees on preparation, service and menu.
- Liaise with the Kitchen and Beverage department on daily operation and quality.
- At least 2 year experience in a similar capacity
- Good command in English language
- Has good leadership and communications skills
- Good knowledgeable in Food & Hygiene Sanitation standards
- Highly motivated and passionate to do the job
- Has high attention to details
- Proactive, vibrant and engaging to guests and colleagues
