Director of Sales

Our Director of Sales shall primarily be responsible for establishing and directing the sales activities of our hotels, creating and overseeing its annual business, as well as managing the sales team with a strategic Yield Management practices. You would grab this opportunity if you are a passionate hospitality professional possessing a proven track record in Dubai, preferably in the Palm and/ or Jumeirah area, and in maximizing hotel revenue among its market segments that includes Government, Corporate, Tour & Travel groups (local & international) and online distribution channels. Responsibilities: 1. Assigns sales territory, target groups and sales quota allocations, 2. Coordinates sales activities with all relevant departments, 3. Prepares and submits plans, budgets, forecasts, progress reports and sales reports, regularly, 4. Manages human resource functions e.g. hiring, training, performance reviews, 5. Researches competitors' products/services, 6. Develops goals and objectives, projects and priorities and assign them to Sales Team 7. Develops and conduct sales campaigns, as well as marketing and promotional plans 8. Makes productive sales call daily Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1. Pre-opening experience, preferably in launching a new brand is an added advantage 2. Self-driven Leader, hands-on and is able to steer business, preferably with a prior experience in health retreats, 3. Financial management and Strategic planning & forecasting skills, 4. Knowledge of the product and competitive environment in Dubai, preferably the Palm Jumeirah / Jumeirah region, 5. Strong network of connections in GCC and European Markets, 6. Excellent planning, negotiation and communication skills , 7. Relevant education in business administration, marketing, communications, public relations, advertising or a related field is required.
