Key Responsibilities 
•Work according to the menu specifications by the Chef de Partie 
•Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to the rules set
by the hotel 
•Control food stock and food cost in his section 
•Prepare the daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections of
the main kitchen or satellites 
•Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness,
wastage and cost control

In this role you will prepare and cook orders for daily operations while you advise supervisor of low inventory items; assists in receiving items and taking inventory as required.  You will maintain  a clean, neat and well-organized work area, including but not limited to reach-ins, walk-ins and counters and may assist by performing warewasher or other kitchen duties as needed. 



Support the Demi Chef de Partie
or Chef de Partie in the daily operation and work 



 •Ensure the highest standards and consistent
quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products,
recipes and preparation techniques 



Qualifications include basic reading, writing and math skills. Some food preparation experience or training is preferred.

 

Qualifications:


You should have a professional
kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course and previous experiences in
five star hotels along with good culinary skills. The ability to communicate
well in English and a proven track of food preparation, presentation and
preservation knowledge is an essential. 


Skills required:
 
The ideal candidate will be positively spirited and passionate
about food and should have good knowledge about basic and advanced cooking
methods and techniques



Thorough Knowledge in handling kitchen knives and utensils.
Complying with safe and hygienic work practices in the kitchen
