InterContinental Doha is the authentic urban resort and business hotel in Doha, Qatar. We have 257 guestrooms and eight high quality restaurants and bars serving International cuisine, the longest private 500 meter Arabian Gulf Beach in Doha, an impressive grand ballroom that accommodates up to 800 guests, five flexible function rooms that can host business meetings and social gatherings, outstanding high-tech recreational facilities.

We've got a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as a Sales Executive
To execute all aspects of the hotel’s strategies of selling the various services and facilities of InterContinental Doha.
  1. Implements all sales action plans related to his/her marketing area as outlined in the Marketing Plan.

  2. Establishes and maintains files on active accounts within his/her marketing areas.

  3. Promotes and produces sales leads for other IC Hotels Group through the I-Leads system.

  4. Plans sales trips, under the direct approval of Sales manager, to marketing areas, calling on accounts within their specific marketing area. Reports to the Sales Manager on potential markets needing coverage.

  5. Provides feedback to Sales Manager on changing market conditions, including trends in the competition as a result, of direct sales solicitation, telephone and direct mail, in his/her market areas.

  6. Assists the team in arranging familiarisation trips (FAM trips) / site inspection trips in the hotel for clients.

  7. Disseminates sales related information to other departments as appropriate.

  8. Maintains a high level of exposure in the hotel in major market areas through direct sales solicitation; telephone contacts, and written communications.

  9. Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.

  10. Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel features / services, hours of operation, schedule in-house activities, location and times

  11. Attends meetings as requested.

  12. Submits weekly sales reports, and weekly call planner as required by HOD.

  13. Attends functions held in-house as per instructions from DOS&M.

  14. Supports hotel promotions and events and ensures information is fed into the market.

  15. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.

  16. Co-operate with the company to achieve compliance with FLS legislation

  17. Not undertake any activity which compromises their personal FLS, or the FLS of others

  18. Report all accidents, dangerous occurrences, or hazards, no matter how minor, to the supervisor or Heads of Department

·         Minimum of 1 year Sales experience in 4* or 5* Hotel property
·         Hospitality degree or equivalent
·         Excellent customer relations, problem solving and time management skills
·         Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Opera Sales
·         Proven ability to creating new business opportunities
·         Assertive, professional and positive with a proven ability to develop in a team environment
·         Must be able to work independently and maintain a positive attitude within a very busy environment
·         With valid driver's license is preferred
