An exciting position has arisen for a Sales Manager to join us in our Sales team at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. The main purpose of this role is to implement sales strategies and activities in order to increase market share and drive business to Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel from the GCC market and local Abu Dhabi.
Your main duties will include the following:
- Set the strategies along with the DOS and implementing sales activities in order to drive business from main feeder markets in GCC (leisure and corporate) and achieve the financial goal.
Effectively manage and develop the respective accounts and achieve the set revenue targets of managed accounts.
Contributing to overall Sales strategy of Jumeirah Zabeel Saray.
Monitoring market trends, collecting and sharing market intelligence with the team and the management.
Supporting and communicating Jumeirah’s brand promise” Stay Different”.
Source new partners in the GCC market to increase market share.
- Build strong relationships with our Global Sales ME.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners in GCC and Abu Dhabi, especially Oil and Gas sector.
- Work closely with Sales team members, the colleagues in central reservations department, revenue department as well as key contacts in the individual hotels of Jumeirah in Dubai.
In order to be considered for this role, you will have the genuine interest in assisting others, and enjoy working with people. You will also need to have the below skills and competencies:
-Strong knowledge of GCC and Abu Dhabi Market.
-Fluent in English and Arabic.
-Solid overall sales background in the 5* hotel industry.
-Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role in Sales in 5* luxury segment.
-Segment knowledge and sales skills including principled negotiations in contracting.
-Excellent written and communication skills in both English and Arabic.
-Exceptional communication skills.
-Selling and presentation skills
-Excellent oral and written skills
-Experience with Data analysis and interpretations.
-Excellent time management.
-Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment.
