An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join the Finance Department at Jumeirah Beach Hotel.This position is responsible for analysing and interpreting the financial and operating results of the resort; managing the budgeting and forecasting process, and assisting in strategic reviews of both the property and projects.
Your main duties will be:
Analyse and interpret accounting and financial data to produce reports and presentations requested by the management;
Produce operational and financial performance reports such as key trends, Executive Summary, and business drivers to support the financial review presentation;
Responsible for the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting of the resort;
Ensures that end of month is completed on an accurate and timely basis and that all reporting deadlines for stake-holders are met;
Development of appropriate analyses identifying significant positive and/or negative trends for the Resort;
Produce and analyse the ROI projections on special projects;
Responsible for the maintenance and process of the reporting, forecasting and budgeting application;
Verify the accuracy of all reports;
Responsible for the financial documentation/presentation for Business reviews and conducting P&L reviews within the resort;
Participate and present in business reviews and dept head meetings when required;
Promote the image of the department by giving full support to other departments and creating financial awareness through training;
Assisting during the Audit (Internal and External);
Relieving FM/ADOF in their absence;
Reviewing Finance internal processes, identifying best practices and areas for improvement
In order to be considered for this role, you will have a degree in Hotel Management, Accounting Degree. Experience in luxury 5* Hospitality will be desirable Previous Accounting experience preferable.
You will have good administration, communication, time management and organizational skills, as well as the capability to multitask and have strong attention to detail. You will also be a team player with effective analytical skills.
Proficiency in computer software systems such as MS Office and knowledge of Opera, Micros, Solomon, and Hyperion is essential and excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
