Assistant Director of Food & Beverage
Can you collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel in the area of all restaurants, bars & lounges and beach club, celebrations, in resident dining and private bars? Do you know that the primary responsibilities for this position are to ensure our guests receive the highest level of food quality and service, manage and develop a team, devise and monitor an annual budget, manage labour control and operating expenses and develop relationships with key suppliers and industry associates? food & beverage and culinary policies and procedures, localising them and implement them at property level and consistently across the group. Are you aware that the role is responsible to define the menu offering and beverage selection of the property in consultation with the Director of Culinary Creations and Bar Manager and ensure the property becomes a food & beverage destination that is well received by guests? Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in handling food & beverage operations and overseeing a 5 star hotel culinary department. Excellent written and spoken English and local language is a must. Thorough HACCP and food handling certification requirements and additional knowledge on wine and spirits is an added advantage.Other traits include and are not limited to attention to details, organization, data entry skills, food & beverage related software like MICROS, POS, etc., analyzing information, thoroughness and reporting research results. Business administration /hospitality or hotel management related qualification at a graduate or post graduate level is preferred.
