Our client is a five-star hotel currently in the pre-opening phase, looking for an experienced DOSM to lead it’s Sales & Marketing operations




* To manage all pre-opening and opening Sales & Marketing activities so as to establish the hotel in this very competitive market

* To ensures the efficient and effective management of the Sales & Marketing team towards the attainment of the overall goals and objectives

* Develops, motivates and effectively supports the Sales, Marketing and Reservations teams.

* Develops strategies for forecasting and analyzing sales needs and developing effective product responses, delivery systems and methods of measuring and evaluating results

* Plans, develops and executes marketing plans to provide direction and specific plans of action

* Develops new and/or improved products to improve the competitiveness and maximize profitability

* Promotes marketing awareness and clearly communicates the marketing objectives to support the achievement of plans and sales goals

* Plans, manages and evaluates the financial operations of the Sales & Marketing division to ensure cost effectiveness and optimum utilization of resources

* Prepares and presents an annual budget for approval

* Develops implements and evaluates short-term tactics and long-range sales plans and programs focused on customer needs and expectations

* Identifies the needs for timely adjustment of marketing plans and priorities to meet the changing economic and competitive conditions

* Manages and develops the Corporate, Government and MICE markets



* Of European, Moroccan or Tunisian nationality only due to work permit restrictions

* Minimum of 4 years experience as a DOSM within internationally branded hotels in the GCC and/or Qatar markets

* Arabic speaking an advantage though not essential

* Strong Marketing skills and a proven track record of achievements are essential

* Preferably a Degree with emphasis in Marketing, Sales, Public Relations and communications

* Strong leadership and organizational skills

* Strong administrative skills, along with excellent negotiation skills

* Ability to supervise and strongly motivate sales professionals is a must

* Ability to develop effective motivational strategies




* A highly competitive salary of US$7,000 net per month.

* 3 year contract

* Family package: employee, your spouse and up to 2 dependent children

* Medical: Once you have obtained the Residence permit/Qatar ID card, you will be enrolled in the hotel’s Medical Insurance Program

* Schooling: up to 2 dependent children between 5 and 18 years of age (25,000 QAR/person/school year)

* Relocation: Flights for (employee, your spouse and upto 2 dependent children) from Point of Hire to Doha, Qatar with 1,000 USD per person to move belongings.

* Home Leave: Following twelve months of service, will be entitled to a home leave benefit, which consists of economy class (employee, your spouse and upto 2 dependent children) 

* Accommodation: entitled to suitable furnished two-bedroom accommodation 

* Transportation: provided by the hotel (to/from accommodation & hotel)
