Job Description


The Sales Executive is responsible to identify, qualify and secure business / sales by cultivating and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships with current and potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identification, contact, qualification and development of viable new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts (through conference attendance, client referral and targeted cold-calling) within an established and defined territory
  • Visiting potential customers to prospect for new business;
  • Acting as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets;
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement, as per standard company terms and closing sales;
  • Gathering market and customer information;
  • Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
  • Negotiating variations in price,delivery and specifications with department managers;
  • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
  • Recording sales and order information;
  • Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements;
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations as aligned with Catering Manager;
  • Feeding future buying trends back to the venue
  • Liaise with the marketing department to negotiate and plan various marketing activities
