Your Future Role
As a Manager - Food & Beverage Operations, this position is a field management role that oversees multiple QNCC Food and Beverage operations.
You will be responsible for managing food and beverage operations including restaurant dining, catering, cafeteria, snack bars, food courts, and possibly satellite operations. You will also be responsible to ensure all reporting and control procedures in the operations, customer service, and quality of production, hygiene and cleanliness standards, Maintenance and general administration are in place.
You will be reporting to Director of Catering.
Your experience and qualifications
You should have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel/Food management or equivalent from a reputable institution.
Master’s degree in Hotel/Food management or equivalent from a reputable institution is desirable. Significant experience in a commercial food service enterprise and lead auditor training or equivalent training in the assessment of quality management and quality assurance systems will be an advantage.
In addition, you hold a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience, five (5) years of which in a managerial role.
You will be required to have a thorough familiarity with all phases of food purchasing, preparation, production control, merchandising, service, and inventory control plus creating a positive environment with strong communication, coaching and monitoring skills.
