Successful Candidate must have a High School Degree and speaks fluent English and Arabic is an advantage.

  • Checks on the quality of all food items/ingredients before preparation
  • Preparation of Mise- en - place  for cooking Station
  • Follows measurements and procedures as detailed in the standard recipes
  • Adheres to portion control standards
  • Acts as buffet runner
  • Store the cook food in chillers/ blast chiller/hot cabinets/ buffet
  • Prepares food orders/items following measurements and procedures as detailed in standard recipes
  • Cleans and organizes kitchen refrigerators and/or food storage areas, as instructed by the chef in charge
  • Observes standard preparation time for all food items/orders
  • Practice the food safety procedures
  • Ensures special guest requests are responded to maximum flexibility and creativity
  • Clear the work area / sanitize
  • Stores food items in a manner consistent with hygiene standards
  • Adheres to specified hygiene and personal appearance, standards of the Hotel
