Duties and Responsibilities



FINANCIAL RETURNS
  • Contributes
    to the profitability of the Department by increasing sales and generating new
    revenues ideas
  • Achieves
    budgeted revenues and control expenses
  • Maximizes
    profitability related to the food and beverage Department. Controls labour cost
    according to the budget
  • Participates
    and prepares the annual hotel budget.
  • Maintains
    procedures for credit control and handling of financial transactions.
  • Maintains
    par stock level for operational equipment and maintains inventory control
    procedures.
PEOPLE
  • Conducts
    monthly staff meetings
  • Conducts
    training sessions to maintain high quality service.
  • Conducts
    performance evaluations for Waiters as well as for supervisors and host/
    cashier
  • Listen to
    staff concerns and ensures that concerns are addresses and solved.
  • Ensures
    high employee morale and satisfaction through employee empowerment
GUEST EXPERIENCE
  • Maintains
    good relations with regular guests
  • Increase
    level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an improved product through employee
    development, job engineering and quality images
  • Receives
    departmental related guest complaints and ensure corrective action is taken.
  • Consistently
    provide and maintain the highest standard of guest care and service.
  • To handle any
    guest complaints or problems promptly and to ensure that all resolved /
    unresolved incidents are reported to Department Head
RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS
  • Develop
    and implement Promotions Calendar for F&B products in restaurant
  • Manage
    special event concepts
  • Anticipate
    market changes and review operations when necessary

Qualifications and Technical skills.

Education and Experience :
  • College Graduate
  • BS Degree on Hotel & Restaurant Management.
  • Two years’ experience of Asst. Managerial position in a five star
    hotel.
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
 
  • Competent in using IT systems relevant to Food & Beverage.
  • Proven ability to instruct, train and motivate subordinates.
  • Manages people effectively and works well with others.
  • Organizes tasks, people and resources.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Extensive Knowledge in food and beverage.
  • Familiar with Health & Safety Procedures in the work place.
  • Skilled in customer service.
  • Administrative skills.
 
Language

  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Arabic is an add Advantage
