As a Waiter/Waitress, you serve as an integral component of the Food & Beverage function by supporting the Outlet Team.
Waiter/Waitress will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
To ensure that SOP Basic standards are adhered to in order to achieve the level of service established in the Departmental Operations Manual.
To be knowledgeable of hotel and department’s products and services
Ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
Consistency in the standards, through planning, organizing, directing and controlling the food and beverage operation.
To take a hands on approach in the operation of the outlet.
To ensure that the par stocks and FIFO system for all operating equipment and supplies are strictly adhered to and that the outlet is adequately equipped.
To assist in controlling the requisitioning, storage, and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies.
To attend daily briefing with the associates on preparation, service and menu
To liaise with the supporting departments on daily operation and quality
To establish a rapport with guests maintaining good relationship.
To report “lost and found” items.
To ensure that the outlet is kept clean and organized, both at the front as well as the back of house.
To ensure that all associates provide courteous and professional service at all times.
Similar experience needed in a 5 star luxury hotel chain
With Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or any F & B Certification
Must deal in a polite and sophisticated manner
Enthusiastic, courteous, helpful to colleagues & hotel guests
Can work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Enjoy working with a multi-cultural team and hotel guests
Excellent Guest Relation Skills
Excellent command of English language, both spoken and written
Multiple language ability is considered as additional advantage
