  • Develop and implement the marketing plan activities to increase brand awareness, communicate promotions to all relevant target markets and address hotel business needs.
  • Support sales team with the creation of marketing collateral and tactical promotions associated with the key market segments. Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
  • Work closely across all hotel departments, seeking proactive opportunities and planned promotions to address specific business challenges as required.
  • Focus on online reputation management and guest engagement. Monitor on line comments throughout all social media platform.
  • Manage hotel and OTAs website contents and ensure they are in line with brand guidelines.
  • Evaluate the performance of our branded website and give suggestions for how to promote and improve the presence of the hotel on the web, with the intension of increasing number of bookings and keeping the website up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
  • Ensure and execute the active presence of the property on all social media tools to maximize the online exposure of the property.
  • Monitor social media trends locally and in the region and develop and manage social media campaigns.
  • Follow social media activities of top 5 competitive hotels.
  • Prepare monthly website analytics and social media channel reports.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • To maximize SEO functionality via various means (blogs, directories, content, sub domains etc.).
  • To monitor web search rankings to maximize traffic, conversion and generate revenue reports for all websites.
  • Google Ad words: Identify opportunities to maximize ROI on relevant keyword buys.
  • Be responsible for the planning and execution of content creation as well as the briefing to creative agencies (including copy writing, photo/video shootings) ensuring delivery adherence with brand guidelines and hotel positioning.
  • Drive the positioning of the restaurants & bar on the local market. Work with internal and external resources to define clear positioning for each outlet that is consistent with overall hotel positioning.
  • Assist in delivering rooms/food & beverage revenue by overseeing the implementation of advertising, promotions, events, sponsorship and strategies.
  • Assist F&B Manager in coordinating F&B marketing calendar for the year.
  • Act as Brand Champion. Ensure full compliance with all SBI Brand Marketing standards & programs.
  • Writing, designing and proofing relevant property collateral, in room material and promotional material, client communication, seasonal greetings, including websites, ensuring they meet SBI / SBSE standards.
  • Source give-aways and coordinate with local and overseas suppliers on delivery. Also, ensuring smooth and controlled distribution of give-aways, hampers on relevant occasions
  • Create and carry out mass e-mailing internally or through Group office
  • Develop & implement local marketing activities (including event strategy) aiming to engage with locals and increase from in-house guests.
  • In charge of hotel Booker’s Club program including promoting the program to existing and potential bookers, follow up incentives (as per bookings made) and guest’s events.
  • Assist with local public relations and promotional activities that support the needs of the hotel and restaurants/bars. This includes collaborating with Group and regional PR agencies on messaging/positioning of the hotel and outlets, pro-active media relations, maximizing hotel events by inviting local/national media, press events, photo/TV shoots of the property, and other specific events that require personal attention.
  • Identify local partnerships and review opportunities for local level promotions and sponsorships to gain recognition within the community.
  • Implement PR campaigns to celebrate success and awards and the promotion of products.
  • Build excellent relationships with local media base and maximize their presence during hotel events.
  • Collaborate with relevant 3rd parties to come up with sponsorships, promotions and added benefits to attract target audience.
  • Gather and analyse intelligence on markets’ threats and opportunities.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
  • Remain up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing.
  • Collect information from other hotels on their sales and marketing campaigns and promotions – visit hotels regularly (especially new ones), receive their newsletters, event support materials, research papers, brochures.
  • Identify local charity to support and subsequent events and media exposure in conjunction with the hotel charity committee.
  • Work in coordination with Marketing team members at Regional and Corporate level
  • Present recommendations to superiors.
  • Produce monthly reports as required.
  • Ensure files, correspondence and other relevant business documentation is maintained.
  • Undertake additional duties as requested by DOSM and management.
